RISK is a Java game where the objective is to eliminate opponents in order to control all the territories of the world map. During each turn, players can reinforce their occupied territories, attack opponents and fortify their armies. Conquering one or more opposing territories gives the player a RISK card.

Players will reinforcements based on the numbers of territories and continents controlled at the beginning of their turn. Players can also get bonus armies by trading in their cards. Players are awared one army for every three territories they control with a minimum of three armies awarded on any turn. Players receive bonus armies for controlling an entire continent.

The number of armies awarded depends upon which continent is controlled. In order to receive the continent bonus, players must control the continent at the beginning of their turn. There are two modes of play.
  • Quick Play: It launches a new game on the west map for the player and two A.I. opponents, with auto-claim enabled.
  • Conquest: This mode allows the player to configure color, auto-claim mode, opponents, number of A.I.'s and map size. The player can also choose if they would like to have help cards appear during the game.

The game is developed by Electronic Arts Inc. The game is designed to work with Symbian S60 5th edition touch screen mobiles such as Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, 5530 XpressMusic, N97, N97 Mini, X6, 5230, 5233, Samsung i8910 Omnia HD, Sony Ericsson Satio and Vivaz.
