Avatar, a 2009 American science fiction film written and directed by James Cameron, and starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang is now available as an official movie game on your Symbian S60 5th edition mobiles (Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, N97, N97 Mini, X6, 5530 XpressMusic and Sony Ericsson Satio).


The story of Avatar begins with a Earth-like moon of Polyphemus called Pandora in year 2086. Humans established mines here to exploit the rare, vital resource known as unobtanium, which has powered the next wave of technological expansion.


To interact with Pandora's inhabitants, The Na'Vi, colonizers bio-engineered a Na'Vi clone, controlled by specially trained colonist. Jake Sully, a former Marine who was paralyzed in combat, is just such an Avatar. Cameron has started working on this story since 1994 and film was released in this year 2009. Avatar movie was released in traditional 2-D and 3-D formats, along with an IMAX 3D release in selected theaters.
